School Uniform Policy (Dress Code)

***The primary responsibility for the dress and appearance is equally shared by students and parents. As a students matures, that resonsibility is transferred to him or her solely. Therefore, C.C.P.A.A. administration and faculty expect that students will be dressed in uniform and will look professional at all times. Parents will be notified for violations of the dress code. Students will be sent home for violations of the dress code. Uniform violations are considered Major infractions. (Laundry is not an excuse to be out of uniform.) Students who are repeatedly out of uniform will face other disciplinary action.***Uniforms not bought at Sue Mills Uniform Company must be exact look-alike clothing-if you have any questions, go to Sue Mills and look first-hand and you can always call the school office.

Girls Uniform for Grades 5-8:

White,navy or forest green polo shirts,turtleneck, (not mock turtleneck) or white oxford shirts; khaki or navy walking shorts (not shorter than mid-thigh length); khaki,navy, or black trousers (cotton twill only); navy pleated or CCPAA specific plaid skirt; sweaters (crewneck,v-neck, or cardigan) in navy,burgandy, or forest green; sweatshirts in navy only (CCPAA or no logo). All items must be "Sue Mills" or Sue Mills look alike clothing. P.E. uniforms are to be purchased from the office only.


Boys Uniform for Grades 5-8:

Earrings:

Earings should be discreet and tasteful. In the interest of student safety, we ask that earrings be removed for P.E.,gym, and sports.

Hats & Sunglasses:

Hats,caps,visors,headbands and sunglasses are only to be worn outside the classroom. No chains nor spikes on campus.

Shoes:

Platform shoes are not allowed for grades 5-8. Flip-flops, slippers, and the like are unacceptable.

High School Womens Uniform:

The uniform is the same as the above stated grades 5-8 with the following additions: white,navy or black button down shirts; black three-quarter length or black long skirts.

High School Mens Uniform:

The uniform is the same as the above stated grades 5-8 with the following additions: white,navy blue, and black solid colored shirts (collared).

 ***OUTERWEAR:

Outerwear is restricted to sweaters and sweatshirts as indicated above, and legimate jackets and coats.

Speacial Dress Days:

Every Firday is a special dress day for grades 9-12. Special dress days are given with the understanding that students have the maturity to dress cleanly and nicely. Therefore, no t-shirts, no tattered clothing, no midriff clothing, nor the like may be worn. The last day of each grading period is a "Special Dress" day for grades 5-8.

Free dress days:

Free dress days will be announced by the administration. Free dress days allow for the wear of t-shirts,but not for tattered, midriff, or inappropriate messaged clothing.

While on campus (including after school), students ,must remain in uniform clothing.
