Where Arts and Education Come Together
Was founded in 1981 and is now permanently located in the North Park area of San Diego at 3051 El Cajon Blvd. San Diego 92104. CCPAASD draws students from the entire county of San Diego and the globe: students are currently enrolled from South America, China, Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Thailand and Taiwan. Our population is approximately 250 students and includes preschool, prekindergarten, kindergarten, elementary, middle school (junior high), and high school.

the Children's Creative and Performing Arts Academy of El Cajon (formerly Wonder World School)
was founded in 1970. CCPAAEC encompasses preschool, prekindergarten, kindergarten, and elementary grades through grade 6. CCPAAEC is located at 1375 East Washington Avenue, El Cajon, CA 92019. This campus draws students from the East County, El Cajon, Alpine, Lakeside, Santee, Spring Valley, Jamul, La Mesa, Chula Vista

What is our Kindergarten program?
Individualized reading from beginning levels through the beginning of grade 2 reading
Grade kindergarten or grade 1 math (placed by exam), also addition, subtraction, numbering to 1000, place value,2-3-,and 4-digit adding and subtracting including carrying and borrowing, mutliplication
Global political and cultural geography; zoology, botany, and physical science
Foreign Languages are Chinese and Spanish
Artistic: ballet, tap, drama, music and theory, violin, fine art
What is does our Middle School (junior high ) Program include?
English: literature, grammar, spelling , vocabulary, writing, and speaking
Mathematics assigned by placement test
Laboratory science; research based history
High school levels of Spanish
Studio art, drama and production, choir and music theory/history, instrumental music, ballet/tap/jazz levels, computer classes, sports and physical education and sports.
High School Division:
All levels of English including 2 Advanced Placement levels All levels of history including 4 Advanced Placement (AP) levels
Mathematics through Calculus BC AP and Statistics AP Science classes including 2 AP levels
Foreign Language classes in Spanish, Chinese and Japanese through AP levels
Studio Art and AP Drama Workshop and Tech Theatre Advanced dance levels in Ballet, Jazz and Tap Writing and Publishing using In-Design
