Exceptional Student Performances That Brought the Story to Life
From the opening scene to the final curtain call, our CCPAA students delivered outstanding performances that captivated the entire audience. Each cast member embraced their role with enthusiasm and creativity—whether stepping into the shoes of the hopeful Charlie Bucket, the eccentric Willy Wonka, or one of the many quirky characters that make this story so magical.
Their expressive acting, strong vocals, and impeccable comedic timing showcased the level of professionalism and passion that defines the CCPAA performing arts program.
A Night Filled with Laughter, Smiles, and Pure Joy
The energy in the auditorium was electric as families and friends enjoyed a night full of laughter, excitement, and pure joy. The audience was captivated by the creativity of the production and the vibrant performances of our CCPAA students. Every whimsical moment—from the golden tickets to the Oompa Loompas—sparked delight and wonder.
Thank You to Our Incredible PTO for Making It All Possible
This production was made possible thanks to the tireless support of our CCPAA PTO. Their hard work—assisting with costumes, creating props, and guiding backstage logistics—ensured that every element of the show ran smoothly.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the PTO for their commitment to helping our students shine on stage.
How Performing Arts Helps CCPAA Students Thrive
Performing arts programs help students build confidence, teamwork, creativity, and communication skills—benefits that extend beyond the stage (Catterall, 2009; Winner & Hetland, 2000). At CCPAA, students gain hands-on experience in acting, singing, choreography, and stage production, developing leadership and collaboration skills while expressing themselves creatively.
For San Diego students, CCPAA provides a supportive environment where they can shine in productions like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, preparing them for academic success and personal growth through the performing arts.
A Magical Start to an Incredible Performing Arts Season
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory marked the first show of the year for CCPAA, and it set the bar high for the remarkable performances to come. With this strong start, we are looking forward to an inspiring season filled with creativity, imagination, and student excellence.
Stay tuned for more performances, events, and behind-the-scenes stories as the CCPAA performing arts season continues!
