Summer Camp 2023
Summer Camp is designed for students in grades Kindergarten - 5th grade and begins June 14th. Summer Camp includes 5 sessions with the following themes: Robotics, Art & Sports, STEM & Engineering, Theater Workshop, and Dance & Music. Each session is approximately 2 weeks. Camp hours are from 9:00a.m. - 2:30p.m. Drop-off hours are from 8:45a.m. - 9:00a.m. Pick-up hours are from 2:30p.m. - 2:45p.m. Extended daycare is available from 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. for an additional fee ranging from $35 - $50/session (depending on amount of days per session). One week camp accommodations are available upon request. Sibling discounts are applied for enrolling one or more students in summer camp. A $100 deposit is due at the time of registration. Summer camp tuition is due one week prior to the start of each session.

Dance & Music

The Dance & Music camp is open to campers with no experience as well as campers with experience. Dancers are taught the fundamentals of dance and will take part in dance classes in various styles of dance. The music program includes an introduction to basic music theory including counting/rhythm, dynamics in music, and ear training. Students will participate in music classes.

STEM & Engineering

The STEM & Engineering camp will allow students to explore the various aspects of STEM including Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Students will work on projects throughout the session that will provide them with a hands-on experience into the world of STEM.

Robotics

The Robotics camp is open to both beginners and campers with previous Robotics experience. Students will learn to program and design a robot using Arduino, Micro Bit and Python software. By the end of the session, students will have built a robot from start to finish in small groups.

Theater Workshiop

The Theater camp is open to beginners and campers with experience in theater. Theater camp begins with voice, body movement and pantomime, and extend through theater games into skits and character development. Students will gain knowledge and learn new skills that will enhance their talent.

The Art & Sports camp is open to beginners as well as campers experienced in either Art or Sports. Students will learn the fundamental principles and concepts of Art as well as an introduction to famous artists. Students will use different mediums to create artwork of their own. Student mental and physical development is emphasized through the sports program. Students will participate in team sports where skills, exercise and good sportsmanship are practiced and developed.
