CCPAA Earns Prestigious AP School Honor Roll Award: Platinum Recognition for Excellence in Education

We are thrilled to announce that CCPAA has earned Platinum recognition on the 2024 AP School Honor Roll! This prestigious honor reflects our commitment to providing exceptional educational opportunities for our students and expanding access to Advanced Placement (AP) programs.

The AP School Honor Roll is awarded to schools that demonstrate excellence in three critical areas: College Culture, College Credit, and College Optimization. These areas evaluate a school’s ability to deliver strong AP outcomes, foster a culture of college readiness, and ensure students are not only participating in AP courses but also succeeding in them. This year, CCPAA was awarded the highest distinction—Platinum—standing among the top institutions nationwide for our commitment to academic excellence.

CCPAA Advancing Equity in Advanced Placement Education

In addition to earning Platinum status, CCPAA was also honored with the AP Access Award, which highlights our commitment to providing all students, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, with access to AP courses. This recognition is a direct reflection of our belief that every student deserves the opportunity to excel academically, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Our AP Access Award is a direct result of the dedication and hard work of our faculty, especially Mr. Izzy and Mrs. Faxon. Their tireless efforts in redeveloping and expanding our AP curriculum have ensured that more students can engage with advanced coursework and reap the benefits of college-level learning while still in high school. Their passion for student success and their commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment have been crucial to our school's achievement.

A Special Thank You To Our Community

None of this would be possible without the continued support of our students, parents, faculty, and community members. Thank you for partnering with us to create an educational environment where every student has the chance to thrive.
